Legal Identification:
Individuals seeking notarization must present a valid form of government-issued photo identification (e.g., State-issued driver’s license, State-issued identification card, US passport or a US passport card, foreign passport with a valid US visa or US customs stamp, US military identification card, permanent resident card (green card), tribal identification card, or driver’s license issued by Canadian or Mexican government).
- Please ensure that the name on your ID matches the name on the documents to be notarized.
- The ID must include a recognizable photograph, your signature, and it must be current or issued within the last five years.
- If a valid form of identification is not available, you may use credible witnesses to verify your identity.
One witness: If the witness is personally known to both you and the notary, with valid identification.
Two witnesses: If the witnesses are not known to the notary, you may provide two witnesses who know you personally, each with valid identification.
Late Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment time will incur a $50 fee.
Tardiness Policy:
- If the client is not present at the agreed-upon location within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, the notary may leave, and a $25 fee will be charged.
- If the notary is able to wait, a $1 per minute late fee will be applied after the initial 15-minute grace period.
